Infliximab (Remicaide) Infusion

Infliximab (Remicaide) is a drug which modifies the immune system and is used in autoimmune diseases to suppress. In Crohn’s disease and Ulcerative Colitis, infliximab can be very useful in severe cases, and be effective when other therapies have failed. Infliximab is administered as an intravenous infusion over several hours, and must be repeated every several weeks to maintain its effectiveness.
